As the sky darkens and the earth shakes, as the cries echo and the tears fill the ocean, the end of days will come and those who are chosen shall be saved, and those who are not shall perish.
If the world were to end who would be saved and who would be left to die, the answer to this question remains obvious the rich and the skilled and their family's shall be saved while the rest of us perish but is this the right choice? They're are multiple views to look at first at those who were left to die, first feelings of anger and resentment shall come to surface but the feelings will soon fade to the abyss of death. A second look is the logical view, "The strong will survive" with this in mind, if the best escape the human races chance of surviving grow, and in reality we are but a species and all we must do is survive, survive and survive but to what end, why do humans survive?
We survive because that is what comes natural to us,as it does to most species. However our survival is to our race and not to our self, but if we survive as many people strive to do, the race survives. But why do we think of our own survival, when the races is much grander then we could ever become? That is because we can only live in our own time, to do something for future generations that you will never meet seems unthinkable, dumb really, as you ensure future generations survive, your own survival decreases. For example many great people who have fought for change, for a brighter future, gave up their own survival so others could survive but in a sense is it worth it to do that? The strongest should survive but if the strongest help the weakest survive, then how strong are they?
With the topic of survival in mind, the questions of morals come and how they help us to survive and to that I answer they don't........or maybe they do? Morals have a big impact on actions we make for better or for worse, but why do we have morals that hold us back to such lengths our survival becomes questionable? With that I have no answer, for morals are something we developed on our own or are they? For I cannot answer, for I am but a teenage boy who likes staying inside.
