The 3 people in this picture represents 3 different thing
1. The first man represents Ignorance is bliss, from this we can see that not knowing gives you a view that everything is okay and good, that the world is a beautiful place and those who live in it are too.
2. The second man represents that with enough knowledge the world shows itself as evil, corrupt, destroyed, with knowledge we begin to see the world as a horrible disgusting place that is filled with evil, with knowledge we can see the real world for the truth that it is with out own two eyes.
3. The third man represents with enough knowledge, we can become enlightened, we can see both the faults of the world and virtue of it, as we learn this much, we can see the world as one big picture, we have seen it from many different angles and the truth becomes clear that the world is both beautiful and ugly and that's what makes it our world. Seeing the world from above and not below, looking at all the different angles and possibility's of the world it does not seem so evil or good but just the world we live in, for that is the truth.
